China ocoleşte blocajele cu "Drumul Mătăsii de Gheață". Ruta arctică taie timpul de transport spre Europa

A Chinese shipping company, Sea Legend Shipping, is launching a new Arctic route for container transport to Europe, significantly reducing transit times. The service, named 'Ice Silk Road', will operate weekly from Ningbo to Felixstowe, cutting transport time to 20-22 days. This route offers an alternative to traditional shipping lanes, avoiding geopolitical tensions and rising fuel costs. As Arctic ice melts, the route becomes more navigable, presenting economic opportunities for Russia. However, environmental concerns persist regarding the impact of increased maritime traffic in the Arctic region.
