China interzice total deţinerea de drone în Beijing în numele „securităţii"

Beijing authorities announced a total ban on drone ownership starting November, citing security concerns in the capital. The new regulations will prohibit possession or storage of unmanned aerial vehicles within the city limits. This decision follows heightened security worries after a small plane crash in June. Previously, drone flights were already restricted, and owners had to register their devices. The new rules require drone owners to either dispose of their drones or relocate them outside the city by November 15, with penalties for non-compliance. Exceptions may be made for specific uses such as emergency response and scientific research.
