China face un pas în negocierile cu UE: Beijingul acceptă limitarea exporturilor de vehicule hibride, anunță Comisia Europeană
China has agreed to moderate its hybrid vehicle exports to the EU, potentially halting millions of Chinese vehicles from entering the European market. Additionally, Beijing will reduce tariffs on various products worth around four billion euros, including auto parts and food items. This decision follows concerns from the EU about its significant trade deficit with China, which has reached about one billion euros daily. The EU had threatened protective measures, prompting this dialogue to avoid escalating trade tensions. A joint statement confirmed both parties' commitment to ongoing discussions and highlighted China's willingness to facilitate the supply of rare earth materials to the EU, crucial for various industries. The outcomes of these talks will be presented at the upcoming EU summit in Brussels.
