Previously dominated by Japan's Kumiai Chemical, the market is set for increased competition. The global pyrioxasulfone market is valued at approximately $400-500 million annually, and Anhui Jiuyi's output could treat 3 to 10 million hectares. This increase in supply may pressure prices and reduce production costs for herbicides containing pyrioxasulfone, which is crucial for crops like corn, soybeans, and wheat.
