OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Ads in 31 European markets, including Romania, allowing ads to appear during user conversations. Users on Free and Go plans will see ads, while Plus, Pro, Enterprise, Business, and Education subscribers remain ad-free. Initially, ads will not be personalized and will be clearly marked as sponsored content. OpenAI assures that user data remains private and that ads will not affect AI responses. This expansion aligns with OpenAI's advertising revenue growth and plans for a potential IPO.
