The project aims to modernize the rink and create adjacent sports facilities. Issues arose from contractor claims, leading to the transfer decision. The project, started in 2016, faced delays due to legal disputes and is now set for completion with a budget exceeding 150 million lei. The new complex will feature various sports facilities and is expected to be finished in 18-20 months.
