CFR Călători îşi face CASCO la trenurile PESA care încă stau degeaba în gară

CFR Călători has initiated a tender worth 27 million lei for insurance services for new PESA electric trains, covering damages and personnel protection. The Romanian government has contracted 91 PESA trains, with only 20 delivered so far. Issues with contract negotiations and maintenance facilities have delayed their operation. The interim Minister of Transport stated that 11 trains are ready for use, and legal issues are being resolved to allow their circulation. Criticism has been directed at the contract's terms, which are seen as unfavorable to Romania.
