Ceuta: Marocul anunţă, în primul său raport oficial, moartea a 11 migranţi - Economica.net
The Moroccan Interior Ministry reported 11 migrant deaths while Spain noted at least 72 fatalities during recent border crossings. Ten drowned and one fell from a rocky area. Morocco is coordinating with Spain to verify numbers and assist in identifying bodies. The migration crisis is attributed to social media exploitation and misleading information. The ministry recorded 40,000 illegal crossing attempts to Ceuta and 1,135 to Melilla, with all Melilla arrivals returned to Morocco. Madrid claims over 60,000 reached Ceuta, mostly sent back to Fnideq. Human rights groups estimate nearly 130 victims and many missing. Judicial investigations are underway regarding this unprecedented influx.
