Cetățeanul rus acuzat că pregătea acte de sabotaj în România a fost arestat pentru 30 de zile
The Bucharest Court of Appeal has ordered the preventive arrest of a Russian citizen accused of attempting acts of diversion. The individual was detained by DIICOT and is suspected of gathering military information and conducting surveillance on Romanian and allied military bases. This activity posed a threat to national security, as he was allegedly coordinating with an external entity through encrypted messaging. The Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) confirmed that they, along with other agencies, prevented a sabotage action involving this individual. The investigation revealed a pattern similar to previous sabotage attempts linked to Russian networks in Europe.
