Repairs at CET Bucharest Vest are on schedule, with hopes to resume operations by early November, according to Mirela Pavel, ELCEN's general director. The company has intensified maintenance and investment efforts in preparation for winter. Following significant electrical failures earlier this year, ELCEN accelerated infrastructure improvements. Currently, work is ongoing on the 6 kV electrical station, with new transformers expected soon. Other plants are operational, and maintenance has been conducted across all facilities. ELCEN is also enhancing security measures, including plans for video monitoring systems. Recent incidents have underscored the need for protecting energy infrastructure.
