CET Grozăvești repornit: ELCEN aduce un plus de 30 MW în Sistemul Energetic Național • Newsweek România

ELCEN has restarted CET Grozăvești, adding 30 MW to the National Energy System, enhancing stability and reducing import dependency during peak consumption. This move comes amid a national energy alert, with the plant previously focused on thermal energy production. The additional power is crucial for maintaining safety and balance in the energy network. CET Grozăvești also provides thermal energy for Bucharest, delivering approximately 40 Gcal for hot water preparation. ELCEN is also preparing to restart CET Progresu by mid-August, further supporting energy supply in the capital.
