CET Grozăveşti a reluat producția de energie electrică: va aduce 30 de MW în SEN

CET Grozăveşti has resumed electricity production, contributing 30 MW to the National Energy System following a national energy alert. ELCEN emphasizes the importance of each megawatt for maintaining energy balance and security. The plant also provides thermal energy for Bucharest, delivering around 40 Gcal for hot water preparation. ELCEN is preparing to restart CET Progresu to enhance flexibility and security in energy supply. Ongoing investments aim to modernize and expand high-efficiency cogeneration units, strengthening the capital's energy security.
