CET Constanța și Arad, racordate la rețeaua națională
The dismissed Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced the connection of CETs in Constanța and Arad to the National Energy System, injecting over 120 MW. These projects, funded by PNRR, are expected to provide electricity and heating for thousands of apartments during winter. CET Palas in Constanța will have a capacity of 97 MW, while CET Hidrocarburi in Arad will produce over 30 MW, significantly increasing its output. Both facilities will undergo testing before becoming operational. Additionally, new high-efficiency gas cogeneration plants are planned in both cities, further enhancing energy production.
