Cernavodă: Cât mai funcționează reactoarele 1 și 2

The president of CNCAN, Cantemir Marian Ciurea-Ercău, stated that the Cernavodă nuclear plant is under constant monitoring to ensure safety. Currently, the water level is adequate for Unit 2's operation, while Unit 1's restart depends on rising water levels. If the water continues to drop, Unit 2 may also be shut down within days. Romania is in a state of alert due to energy system issues, with one reactor offline and reduced hydroelectric production. The government is preparing measures to manage energy consumption and protect the system.
