The systematic registration of properties in Romania involves verifying technical documents to identify errors before finalizing the registration process. Property owners can submit rectification requests during a public display period of 60 days, allowing them to check and correct information. Post-registration corrections can also be made if errors are found after the new land books are opened. The National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration is currently implementing a project to enhance property registration in rural areas, covering over 660 communes. This initiative is co-financed by the European Union.
