Cererea globală de vehicule electrice a scăzut cu 2% în luna septembrie. Vânzări record în Europa
Global demand for electric vehicles fell by 2% in September, ending a six-month growth streak, according to Reuters. Record sales in Europe were not enough to offset significant declines in North America and China. Data from Benchmark Mineral Intelligence highlights a growing divergence between major electric vehicle markets. Europe enjoys strong consumer demand and supportive public policies, while China's domestic market remains weak, and North America is affected by the expiration of federal tax incentives for electric vehicles. In September, 2.15 million electric cars were sold globally, a decrease from the previous year, although sales in the first nine months increased by 3% year-on-year. Europe had its best month ever with nearly 600,000 electric vehicles sold, while North American sales dropped by 44%. In China, sales fell by 18%, pushing manufacturers to rely more on exports.
