Cercetătorii au descoperit o metodă pentru a face medicamentele mai sigure și mai eficiente
A new chemical method developed by researchers at the University of Chicago allows for the replacement of carbon atoms with nitrogen in pharmaceutical compounds, enhancing drug properties without harsh chemicals. This technique involves three main steps: adding nitrogen to cyclic molecules, exposing them to blue light and a specific reagent, and finally closing the molecular structure with nitrogen replacing carbon. Initial tests showed promising results, including improved solubility and reduced cardiac protein impact in modified drugs like vinpocetine. While not yet commercially tested, this method could significantly aid in drug development.
