The Sighișoara bypass construction has surpassed 16% completion, employing 170 workers and over 100 machines. The project, initiated in late March, is the first bypass in Mureș County, with a budget of 259.2 million lei and a 31-month timeline. It aims to alleviate transit traffic and trucks from the city, featuring a 13-kilometer road with one lane in each direction. Key structures include a 161.12-meter viaduct and a 75.87-meter overpass. The project is funded by European funds and the state budget, expected to be completed by late 2028.
