The President of the Iași County Council, Costel Alexe, announced the signing of execution contracts for two lots of the Iași Bypass project, aimed at improving traffic flow and local connectivity. The investment exceeds 137 million lei and covers 35 kilometers of road. The contracts were awarded to a consortium that has 24 months to complete the work, funded through a non-reimbursable program. Alexe emphasized the importance of road infrastructure for regional development, acknowledging previous delays due to procurement disputes.
