The Comarnic Beltway is set to open next week, allowing drivers to bypass the city on a 6-kilometer route. Critics highlight the lack of priority for traffic at intersections and insufficient infrastructure for heavy vehicles and electric cars. Despite these challenges, some view the beltway as a positive step forward. The project has faced delays and budget increases, with the current investment reaching approximately 470 million lei. Additional related projects are also underway to improve traffic flow in the area.
