The Comarnic Bypass project has been completed and is now in the final preparation stages for pre-reception and reception. The new road, approximately 6 kilometers long, aims to alleviate traffic on DN1 and reduce congestion in Comarnic and the Prahova Valley. The announcement was made by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Transport. The bypass connects to DN1 via two roundabouts and features a significant bridge over the Prahova River and the Ploiești–Brașov railway. The total investment amounts to over 470 million lei, funded by European and state budget sources. This bypass is seen as a complementary investment to the future A3 highway.
