The Comarnic Beltway is nearing its official opening, aimed at alleviating traffic on the Prahova Valley. The 6 km road includes three new bridges and roundabouts at intersections with DN1, funded by European and state budget sources. The project complements the future A3 highway connecting Ploiești, Comarnic, and Brașov, which will feature a junction in the Comarnic-Breaza area. Final preparations for pre-reception and official traffic opening are underway, with the project valued at approximately 470 million lei.
