Centura Comarnic a fost deschisă traficului rutier, după aproape trei ani de la începerea lucrărilor

The new bypass around Comarnic, nearly 6 kilometers long, aims to alleviate traffic on DN 1 and improve circulation in the area. It connects to DN 1 via two roundabouts and includes significant infrastructure works, such as a 380-meter bridge over the Prahova River and the Ploiești-Brașov railway. Construction began in November 2023, initiated by the Prahova County Council and funded by the Ministry of Transport. The project, valued at over 470 million lei, is expected to enhance traffic flow and is complementary to the future A3 highway. Completion is anticipated by the end of September 2023, with ongoing safety adjustments being made.
