A new Regional Center for Cerebrovascular Pathology and Neurosurgery has been inaugurated in Cluj-Napoca, providing advanced medical infrastructure for complex neuro-surgical interventions. Although the center is officially opened, it will start receiving patients in October or November 2026. The facility includes 105 beds, advanced surgical rooms, and specialized equipment, aiming to serve patients from Alba and the wider North-West region of Romania. Transfers from other hospitals, including those in Alba, will be facilitated through established protocols, ensuring access to high-level medical care for complex cases.
