Centralele pe cărbune de la Turceni și Craiova nu se închid momentan. Bolojan anunță riscurile pentru PNRR
Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan warned that delaying the closure of lignite power plants could result in a loss of up to 100 million euros from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. This adds to a previous loss of 700 million euros due to the failure to adopt public sector salary legislation. The government is adjusting the timeline for phasing out coal-based energy capacities to avoid social issues, particularly in Craiova, where a new high-efficiency cogeneration plant is planned to replace coal sources. Bolojan emphasized the impact of past inaction on funding opportunities, including loans with higher interest rates.
