The solar power plant in Brașov is still not operational due to design issues, including lack of access roads and connection plans. Mayor George Scripcaru reported that necessary documentation has been completed and approvals obtained. The plant has a capacity of 20 MW and consists of over 30,000 solar modules. A European funding was secured for a new photovoltaic park with a capacity of 19.95 MW, expected to be operational by 2024.
