Centrala nucleară de la Paks a evitat oprirea. Cum a reușit Ungaria să crească nivelul apei din Dunăre
Hungary's Paks nuclear power plant avoided a complete shutdown due to engineering works that raised the Danube water level. Prime Minister Peter Magyar announced that the plant could restart its six turbines soon, potentially reaching full capacity by next week. The facility, which generates nearly half of Hungary's electricity, had been operating at only 25% capacity due to severe drought conditions. Engineering efforts have already increased water levels by 10-15 centimeters, allowing for the gradual restart of the turbines. A riverbed dam is also under construction to further regulate water flow, although it will take weeks to complete.
