Centrala nucleară de la Cernavodă ar putea fi repornită în două săptămâni. Anunțul lui Dumitru Chisăliță, ministrul propus la Energie
The Cernavodă nuclear power plant is expected to resume electricity production in about two weeks due to rising Danube water levels. Dumitru Chisăliță, proposed as the new Minister of Energy, indicated that the first reactor could restart by the end of October, with the second following after November 1. This resumption is crucial for ensuring Romania's energy supply during winter. Recent hydrological data shows a favorable trend, with water levels increasing at Baziaș. The two reactors together provide approximately 1,300 MW of power, significantly contributing to national production. Nuclearelectrica assures that safety measures are in place during the shutdown period.
