Centrala hidroelectrică de la Frasin-Pângărați a primit undă verde de la APM Neamț: Investiția de un miliard de euro va produce peste 300 de MW

The Frasin-Pângărați pumped storage hydroelectric plant has received environmental approval and will generate over 300 MW. The investment is estimated at over 1 billion euros and aims to store surplus energy for national consumption. Construction will involve over six kilometers of tunnels and could employ up to 1,000 workers for four to five years. The stored energy could supply around 20% of Romanian households for 24 hours if needed. The project is expected to enhance energy stability and security in Romania.
