Centrala Cernavodă, oprită integral din cauza nivelului scăzut al Dunării

The Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant will be fully shut down on July 30 due to unfavorable hydrological conditions on the Danube. Unit 2 will be disconnected from the National Energy System starting at 10:00 AM, following the controlled shutdown of Unit 1 on July 28. The Ministry of Energy assures that electricity supply for consumers will not be affected, as demand will be met. Nuclearelectrica is monitoring the Danube's water levels and will take necessary operational measures to ensure safety and stability in the energy system.
