Central bank maintains interest rate at 6.50% per year

The National Bank of Romania has decided to keep the monetary policy rate at 6.50% amid ongoing uncertainty. The Lombard rate remains at 7.50% and the deposit facility rate at 5.50%. Minimum reserve requirements for banks will also stay unchanged.
