Cele două tablouri de Renoir furate din Franța au fost găsite ascunse în spatele unui perete fals dintr-un garaj

Two paintings by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, stolen in September from a museum on the French Riviera, have been recovered from behind a false wall in a garage. Six individuals were detained during the investigation into the theft. The artworks, "Portrait de Madame Colonna Romano" and "Jeune femme au puits," were taken from the Renoir Museum in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The thieves gained access by cutting a fence and breaking a window, escaping with two of the four targeted pieces. The main suspect has been charged, and the investigation is ongoing. The Renoir Museum is a significant cultural site, being the artist's last residence before his death in 1919.
