This situation has persisted since May, with current output at half the usual levels for this time of year. Despite the low water flow, the plants will remain operational. The low levels have also affected nuclear reactors at Cernavodă, which have been shut down, increasing reliance on other energy sources and imports, impacting market prices. The current conditions are expected to last at least a month, with no precipitation forecasted.
