Cel puțin 14 persoane din Serbia, vizate de programe de spionaj. Într-un caz a fost folosit Pegasus
At least 14 civil society members in Serbia, including student activists, have been targeted by advanced spyware, notably Pegasus. Citizen Lab's analysis revealed that Pegasus was used to gain extensive access to victims' devices. The spyware attacks were discovered in August, following Apple’s warnings to potential targets worldwide. The student movement, which has gained momentum after recent protests, is a significant pressure group against the government. While there is no evidence linking the Serbian government to the Pegasus attacks, other spyware has been associated with Serbian authorities. The timing of these attacks raises concerns about upcoming elections. Affected students expressed feelings of vulnerability but remain committed to their protests against the government.
