He served as a corporal at just 9 years old and had a significant impact on Romanian history. Born in 1936, he joined the military at 7 and participated in key battles, gathering intelligence behind enemy lines. Lungu was decorated multiple times for his bravery and later became an influential figure in education and literature, with his story featured in textbooks and adapted into films. He earned a doctorate in history and worked in the Ministry of Internal Affairs until retirement.
