Cel mai puternic petrolist al lui Putin spune că Beijingul, nu OPEC, a ajuns să facă jocurile pe piața mondială
Igor Sechin, CEO of Rosneft, claims that China, not OPEC, is now the key player in stabilizing the global oil market. He highlighted China's significant reduction in oil imports this year, which he believes has allowed Beijing to take a leading role. Sechin noted that as OPEC's influence wanes, China's growing reserves will further enhance its power in energy markets. The recent withdrawal of the UAE from OPEC and Venezuela's consideration of leaving also indicate a shift in the dynamics of oil production. OPEC's share of global oil production has decreased significantly, now accounting for about 40%.
