Cel mai modern punct de trecere a frontierei din sud-estul Europei s-a deschis la granița cu Ucraina: "Crește relevanța țării în NATO"

The Sighetu Marmației II Border Crossing Point was opened, enhancing Romania's strategic and economic significance in the EU and NATO. This modern facility connects northern Romania with Ukraine's Transcarpathia region and features six control lanes for vehicle checks. Initially, it will handle vehicles up to 3.5 tons, with plans to expand to larger vehicles later. The opening is seen as a vital step for Romanian-Ukrainian cooperation and regional development. The new crossing is part of a broader infrastructure project, including a new bridge over the Tisza River, aimed at improving connectivity and economic growth in the area.
