The find includes around 700 silver items, such as ingots, jewelry, and coins, with some dating back to the 10th century. Notably, one ingot features runes, possibly indicating ownership. The discovery highlights Denmark's extensive trade connections during the Viking Age, evidenced by the presence of both Anglo-Saxon and Islamic coins. The treasure's organization by weight suggests a structured economic system. Its burial location remains a mystery, prompting further archaeological investigation.
