The largest Christmas fair in Alba County will take place in Ighiu from November 28, 2026, to January 7, 2027. It will feature a skating rink, carousel, Christmas train, and various shows and attractions for all ages. Named "Vatra Crăciunului - Ighiu," the event aims to be one of Romania's most ambitious Christmas projects, covering around 20,000 square meters. The program includes a Light Tunnel, Santa's Village, and interactive activities. Additionally, a special New Year's program called "Revelionul Magic de la Ighiu" will offer creative workshops and competitions. The fair is organized by the Ighiu Municipality in collaboration with a newly established company.
