The largest hospital in the Lower Danube region has opened an Interventional Cardiology Department, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. This modern unit at the Emergency Hospital in Galați was established with an investment exceeding 22.5 million lei, making it a regional center for cardiac emergencies. The fully equipped operating room will enable procedures such as stent placements and cardiac device implants, significantly reducing intervention times for urgent cases. The new department includes 80 advanced medical devices and offers a comfortable environment for patients, with 25 beds in 12 rooms, each with its own bathroom. This initiative aims to enhance the hospital's capacity to treat severe cardiovascular conditions and improve patient outcomes.
