Cel mai mare proiect de captare a CO2 din Europa a fost lansat în Olanda

The largest carbon capture and storage facility in Europe has been launched in the Netherlands by Yara International. Located at the Sluiskil plant, it aims to capture 800,000 tons of CO2 annually, which will be liquefied and transported to Norway for geological storage. Over 15 years, the project is expected to eliminate around 12 million tons of CO2 from industrial processes. This initiative features a unique cross-border carbon management system, with CO2 captured in the Netherlands and sent to Northern Lights for storage. Yara and Northern Lights have previously signed a commercial agreement for this cross-border operation.
