The largest solar farm in the EU, Dama, is closer to realization and could power nearly one million people. Located in Arad County, Romania, it has received authorization from ANRE. The project aims to be operational by 2030, surpassing Germany's Witznitz solar park. It may also help Romania reduce fossil fuel use, as the country currently lags behind the EU average in solar and wind energy production.
