Cel mai mare parc fotovoltaic din Uniunea Europeană, care va fi construit în România, a ajuns în atenția presei maghiare

A solar park with a capacity of 1,044 MW is being developed in Arad, Romania, which could become the largest in the EU. The investment exceeds 500 million euros and is backed by 14 financial institutions. The project aims to produce around 1,800 GWh of electricity annually and is expected to be completed by 2028. West Power Investments has secured a 15-year fixed-price agreement with Transelectrica for part of the energy produced. This development is seen as a significant boost for Romania's solar capacity and its role in renewable energy in Southeast Europe.
