Nofar Energy Romania has launched two major solar parks, Iepurești and Ghimpați, with a combined capacity of over 315 MWp, marking a significant step in Romania's energy transition. These parks will produce around 430 GWh of green electricity annually, enough for over 250,000 households, while avoiding approximately 160,000 tons of CO₂ emissions each year. The projects, developed with a €110 million financing package, will soon integrate energy storage systems to enhance flexibility and efficiency in energy supply. Nofar Energy aims to invest further in renewable energy and storage solutions, contributing to Romania's green transition and energy independence.
