Lidl plans to open its largest store in Bucharest's Obor area, located within the SkyLight Residence complex, potentially by the end of this year. The store will cover 3,265 square meters on a 10,418 square meter site, contributing to the development of the residential project. Lidl has been operating in Romania for over a decade and currently has more than 350 stores nationwide. The company aims to complete this new location in the fourth quarter, allowing local residents to shop there this winter. Recently, Lidl opened another store in Sector 2 of Bucharest, further expanding its presence in the capital.
