Danish retailer Normal, owned by billionaire Anders Holch Povlsen, is set to enter the Romanian market with two stores opening in Bucharest and Timișoara this fall. The first store will launch on September 30 in Mega Mall, followed by a second location on October 2 in Shopping City Timișoara. Normal's business model focuses on offering over 3,500 products at low prices, leveraging parallel imports of well-known international brands. The company aims to enhance the shopping experience by introducing new items weekly. This entry will increase competition in Romania's retail sector, particularly in the drugstore and discount segments.
