Cei mai mulți elevi străini din Italia sunt români. Ce s-a întâmplat în ultimii 11 ani / Meloni: „Italienii nu vor fi o minoritate”

Romanians constitute the largest group of foreign students in Italy, making up a significant portion of the total foreign student population. The Italian government is considering measures to limit the number of foreign students in classrooms and has proposed a ban on full-face veils in schools. Giorgia Meloni announced these initiatives during a recent event, emphasizing the need to address integration issues. Currently, there are approximately 930,000 foreign students in Italy, with a notable concentration in Lombardy. Despite facing challenges, the presence of foreign students in Italian high schools is increasing, particularly among those born in Italy. However, disparities in academic performance persist between Italian and foreign students, especially in Italian language proficiency.
