Cei care vorbesc mai multe limbi străine au un creier mai "tânăr". Cum stau românii la acest capitol
A recent study from Barcelona reveals that speaking multiple foreign languages can significantly reduce brain age. Those fluent in two languages have a brain age estimated to be six years younger, while three languages can reduce it by seven years, and four or more by thirteen years. The depth of language proficiency and early learning are crucial factors. In Romania, about 95% of middle school students learn at least two foreign languages, placing the country sixth in the EU for language education, compared to a lower European average. Nordic countries lead in this area, while Austria, Hungary, and Ireland lag behind.
