The general director of STB, Andrei Bighea, announced that passengers who disturb others by speaking on speakerphone or playing music without headphones may face fines. This initiative will be enforced through joint inspections with local police following an awareness campaign. Bighea emphasized the need for civility among passengers and mentioned existing regulations that allow for fines for non-compliance with public transport norms. He also called for more dedicated lanes for STB vehicles to improve transit efficiency.
