Cei care și-au închis balconul fără autorizație riscă să fie amendați, spune ministrul Dezvoltării: „Obligația va fi să intre în legalitate”

The Minister of Development, Alexandru Stoica, announced that individuals who enclosed their balconies without authorization must legalize their constructions or face fines. The new Urbanism Code, effective from August 25, 2026, requires compliance within a one-year grace period. Stoica clarified that this does not involve increased taxes but rather a legal obligation. He emphasized that local authorities will enforce compliance and that discussions about tax increases have not occurred, aiming to maintain current tax levels.
